2.1 Process

Paper based Attitude Survey questionnaires are mailed out to the respondent who completes and faxes back. Slight variant of this process is Fax out Fax back.

2.2 Strengths

Most respondents have access to a fax machine. Less dependency on key board skills that the electronic solution.

2.3 Weaknesses

The return faxes can fail to come through properly, although this is infrequent, the source of the incomplete fax can usually be traced.

2.4 Security

High security as long as the recipient fax is held in a secure location.
